Rahul opened the batting in the second game of four days between India A and Australia A, and also in the simulated training match between the Indian players at WACA before the series opener at Optus Stadium. After scoring 4 and 10 against Australia A at the MCG, Rahul was hit on the right elbow by a rising delivery from the tall and quick Prasidh Krishna on Friday.
